The lens focal length test chart TE100 is used to adjust the camera lens, check the back focal length and resolution, and confirm pillow and barrel distortion. It consists of a Siemens Star and several black and white lines outlining the shape of arrows.

Method of using lens focal length test chart

By using low transmittance filters and low-level illumination, ensure that the camera modulation aperture opening position is not excessively adjusted.

a) Optical focusing: Adjust the focal length to the maximum zoom distance.

b) Back focal length: By adjusting the mechanical screws of the camera lens to focus on the shortest focal length, and alternately optimizing the optical focus.

c) Rear focal length: If the focus changes from one channel to another, the maximum and minimum focal lengths of individual rebound tubes must be mechanically adjusted along the optical axis.

1. Select the white channel. Set the optical focus to the maximum focal length. Adjust the W-channel rebound tube at the shortest focal length and divergence focus until the optimal focus is achieved. If necessary, optimize by alternately adjusting the optical focus.
2. Adjust the red and blue rebound tubes with constant optical focus and shortest focal length until the optimal measurement focus is achieved. Image focusing (focus adjustment) adjusts the focal length to obtain full range (zoom in) and constant distance objects.
